Sacred Dying, Sacred Death

What is death designed to do? Death heals the living, death makes space. If we meet death well, at the soul level, we find that the purpose of death is the release of love. Knowing and understanding death gives you a fuller life and it can call on a courage you may not even know you have. It’s good to remember that healing happens when we remember the love, not the loss.

The Importance of Tradition, Ritual and Ceremony

Peaceful departures begin with coming together to celebrate a precious, significant life. When death is in the picture we need an anchor, a safe container, something larger to lean into that supports us. It helps the feeling of helplessness. Ceremony and ritual practice come from the soul. They provide a place for us to tend our hearts while we voice that this animal’s life meant something - to acknowledge that this animal lived.

Providing you with Ethical, Spiritual and Emotional Peace of Mind

Here at Delaware Pet Cremation, we believe one of the reasons our animals come into our lives is to remind us to live fully, in the moment. It’s not enough for us to provide you with ethical cremation services, we are here to open a door of options to facilitate and navigate the most compassionate, complete and ultimate passage for your pet.

We wouldn’t feel grief, if we hadn’t loved.
